CÚBIT. Ciencia + Arte es un festival innovador que reunirá a destacados artistas, científicos y pensadores. Su objetivo principal es fomentar una reflexión conjunta y profunda sobre las promesas y amenazas, así como los atractivos y las resistencias que la inteligencia artificial (IA) despierta en el ámbito del arte y la cultura.
Este evento es una iniciativa organizada por Contemporánea Condeduque, uno de los espacios culturales del Área de Cultura, Turismo y Deporte del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, y será la sede de esta primera edición.
La edición inaugural de CÚBIT se llevará a cabo del 23 al 30 de mayo de 2026.
La concepción del festival surge de la evidente integración de la inteligencia artificial en nuestra vida cotidiana, trascendiendo el ámbito de los laboratorios y las pantallas. CÚBIT se propone examinar exhaustivamente hasta qué punto la IA ha permeado nuestros imaginarios colectivos, las prácticas creativas y nuestras maneras de pensar y experimentar el mundo.
Durante el festival, se debatirán cuestiones fundamentales como la capacidad de una máquina para imaginar, y si el futuro del arte se definirá como predominantemente humano, artificial o una combinación híbrida de ambos.
La estructura de CÚBIT incluirá una serie de coloquios, proyecciones cinematográficas, performances artísticas, talleres interactivos y conversaciones dinámicas. Todas estas actividades están diseñadas para que tanto los participantes como los asistentes puedan considerar de manera colaborativa qué implica el acto de crear en la era de la inteligencia artificial.
El evento contará con la participación de una diversa y reconocida lista de talentos en sus respectivas áreas, entre ellos Famulus 4.0, Carlos Briones, Jorge Carrión, Jorge Volpi, Amir Yatziv, Rodrigo Quian Quiroga, Carla Nyman, Jesús Bobadilla, Jorge Caballero, Anna Giralt Gris, Eyal Weizman, Lluna Issá Casterà, Marta Ramos-Izquierdo, Klaipeda Puppet Theatre y AWWZ b2b.
Juntos, estos artistas, científicos y pensadores trazarán un mapa multifacético que ilustrará los complejos vínculos existentes entre la creatividad humana y los algoritmos que la amplifican, la desafían o la transforman.

CÚBIT. Science + Art is an innovative festival set to bring together prominent artists, scientists, and thinkers. Its primary objective is to foster a joint and profound reflection on the promises and threats, as well as the attractions and resistances that artificial intelligence (AI) evokes in the realm of art and culture.
This event is an initiative organized by Contemporánea Condeduque, one of the cultural venues of the Culture, Tourism, and Sports Area of the Madrid City Council, and will serve as the host for this first edition.
The inaugural edition of CÚBIT is scheduled to take place from May 23 to May 30, 2026.
The festival's conception stems from the evident integration of artificial intelligence into our daily lives, transcending laboratories and screens.
