Graduate in Procurement and Purchasing Department at the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya
The Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) is inviting applications for a graduate position within its Procurement and Purchasing Department. This role is offered on a temporary substitution contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative procurement files through all their phases.
- Oversee and control documentation related to administrative procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with established regulatory deadlines.
- Maintain the electronic file management system and the public contract register.
- Implement all necessary actions to ensure the correct execution of contracts.
- Provide advice and technical support to various museum areas and departments on matters falling under the Procurement and Purchasing Department's purview.
- Draft technical reports concerning departmental files and issues, prepare specialized studies and documentation, and propose improvements.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate departmental actions, programs, and projects; design tools, methods, and work procedures relevant to the department's scope.
- Maintain necessary communication with external parties (other administrations, companies, entities, museums, and institutions) to fulfill duties.
- Coordinate and/or participate in cross-departmental museum projects relevant to the candidate's expertise.
- Perform other similar duties as assigned due to service needs and in line with the professional category.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a prior employment affiliation with the Consorci del Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, the Generalitat de Catalunya administration, the Barcelona City Council, or the General State Administration, serving as a career civil servant, statutory, or permanent employee, and meet the following criteria:
- Higher university degree or equivalent.
- Catalan proficiency certificate (C1) from the Department of Linguistic Policy or an equivalent qualification.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Professional experience, capability, and suitability for the role will be highly valued, particularly in relation to the position's functions:
- Recent knowledge and experience in public procurement functions.
- Experience in drafting technical reports, resolutions, and other specialized documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in office software (Word and Excel).
- Experience using the Public Sector Contracts Platform (PCSP), the Electronic Contract File Manager (GEEC), and the Public Contracts Register (RPC).
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- High capacity for independent initiative, autonomy, and decision-making aligned with professional category.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks inherent to the position.
