Incomparable Comparisons: An Innovative Art Course
The Friends of the Prado Museum Foundation presents "Incomparable Comparisons" (Comparaciones Incomparables), an innovative online course designed to explore art from a fresh perspective. This program aims to transcend traditional academic art history frameworks by fostering surprising connections and evocative analogies across different periods and cultures. The course highlights the universal, timeless, and multifaceted nature of art, offering a unique and enriching experience for all participants.
Over five engaging sessions, experts from diverse disciplines will present provocative comparisons between carefully selected masterpieces, inviting a deeper understanding and appreciation of artistic creation.
Course Program
Each session will be broadcast live at 6:30 PM (CET) and will be available as a video recording for one month following the live broadcast.
