While the equality of women has made considerable progress within marriage and family structures, its presence in parliament remains an aspiration. The initiative “Parität Jetzt” (Equality Now) is dedicated to rectifying this, advocating for a Bundestag where men and women are represented equally, with 50% of seats allocated to each.
