Es Baluard Museu in Palma, in collaboration with Casal Solleric, is pleased to host an insightful conversation between acclaimed photographer Donna Ferrato and fellow photographer Tomeu Coll. This special event is integrated into the “Converses pendents” (Pending Conversations) cycle, an initiative by Casal Solleric presented at various venues across the city.
This discussion serves as a significant activity linked to the exhibition “Holy,” curated by Tomeu Coll, which will be on display at Casal Solleric until May 24, 2026. The powerful “Holy” exhibition uses photography to delve into the female body as both a sacred and political space.
Drawing on decades of work documenting gender-based violence, patriarchal power dynamics, and the complexities of intimacy as a site of conflict, Ferrato’s photography profoundly asserts the female body as a space of inherent strength, autonomy, and undeniable presence.
The conversation between Donna Ferrato and Tomeu Coll will be conducted entirely in English.
