Il 15° report della Fondazione Fiba di First Cisl, aggiornato al 31 dicembre 2025, lancia un forte avvertimento riguardo alla crescente desertificazione bancaria che affligge l’Italia. La progressiva diminuzione del numero di sportelli bancari e la concentrazione delle attività in mano a un numero sempre minore di istituti stanno seriamente compromettendo l’accesso al credito per i cittadini e minando la coesione sociale.

In particolare, la riduzione delle filiali bancarie colpisce in modo sproporzionato le periferie urbane e le fasce più vulnerabili della popolazione, privandole di servizi essenziali e indebolendo ulteriormente il tessuto sociale di queste aree.
